Proton Mail Setup via Proton Bridge: A new Proton Mail provider option in the account setup wizard guides you through connecting your Proton account using Proton Bridge's local IMAP/SMTP credentials, with inline instructions on where to find them in the Bridge app
Microsoft Teams Conferencing Integration: A new "Conferencing" settings page (Settings → Integrations → Conferencing) lets you connect one or more Microsoft Teams accounts independently of your mail accounts, so you can use Teams even if your email is on a different provider (e.g. Gmail + Teams, IMAP + Teams)
- Connect multiple accounts per provider — useful if you have separate work and personal Teams accounts
- When connecting, YouniqMail automatically links the integration to a matching mail account if one is found (same email address); you can change or remove this link at any time from the integration's card
- Pick a default account per provider with a single click — the default is used in the composer when no per-mail-account link applies
- Rename any integration inline so the entries are easy to tell apart in lists and dropdowns
- Reconnect button re-runs the OAuth flow without losing the linked mail account or default status; Disconnect cleanly removes the integration after a confirmation that explains what stays valid (already-sent invitations keep working)
Insert Meeting in the Composer: A new "Insert meeting" button in the rich-text toolbar of the email composer opens a dialog to schedule a Teams meeting and embed it in your email in one step
- Dialog pre-fills the subject from your email, the start time from the next half hour, and the duration from a new "Default meeting duration" setting (default 30 min)
- When you have multiple integrations connected, an account selector appears; the pre-selected account follows: linked-to-current-mail-account → provider default → first available
- Dialog title and confirmation hint update live to show which provider/account will be used (e.g. "Insert Teams meeting", "When you click 'Insert', a meeting will be created in Teams — Work …")
- Attendees for the meeting invitation are taken from the To and Cc fields of your email at the moment you click Insert
- On submit, the meeting is created in Teams, a formatted block with the Join link is inserted into your email body, and a standards-compliant invite.ics calendar invitation is attached so recipients can accept the invite from any mail client (Outlook, Apple Mail, Gmail, Thunderbird, …)
Region & Server Selectors for More Providers: The setup wizard now lets you pick the correct regional server when adding accounts for:
- GMX (gmx.net / gmx.com / gmx.at / gmx.ch / gmx.fr / gmx.es)
- Fastmail (fastmail.com / fastmail.fm and regional aliases)
- IONOS (1&1 country-specific servers)
- OVH (regional mail clusters)
- Zoho (zoho.com / zoho.eu / zoho.in / zoho.com.au / zoho.com.cn / zoho.jp)

🔧 Improvements

Inline Validation for Account Setup: Invalid fields (email, server, port, …) in the account-setup forms are now highlighted with a red border, and connection errors from the server are shown directly inside the wizard instead of as a generic failure
Resizable Columns in Table View: When the email list is set to table view (Settings → Appearance → Email List), you can now drag the right edge of any text column header (From, Subject, Preview, Date) to resize it to your preferred width. Double-click a column's resize handle to reset that column to its default width. Column widths are remembered across app restarts. Subtle vertical dividers between header columns make the boundaries easy to see at a glance.

🐛 Bug Fixes

Fixed resizable column widths and sidebar splitter positions not being restored after navigating between pages — the drag handles are now wired up reliably and your custom column widths persist across app restarts and route changes
Fixed the action icons in the email detail view's toolbar (archive, delete, mark as spam, notes, snooze, follow-up, tags, pin, …) layout issue when the view is too small
Fixed the "Undo Send" countdown banner being clipped or hidden behind the email detail panel when the window or detail view was narrow

YouniqMail Added Support for Microsoft365, Personal Outlook and Exchange
What does it mean "Personal outlook"? And Why is there a warning not to use productive e-mails in YouniqMail? I thought that YouniqMail is more secure than Gmail or MS Outlook.

"Personal Outlook" refers to Microsoft's consumer Outlook service: the free, personal accounts ending in @outlook.com, @hotmail.com, @live.com, or @msn.com. For example if you register for free at outlook.live.com. It is distinct from Microsoft 365 / Outlook for Business, which is the paid, organization-managed version (custom domains like @yourcompany.com, administered through Microsoft Entra/Azure AD). In YouniqMail's account setup, "Personal Outlook" is the option you pick if you sign in with a consumer Microsoft account rather than a work or school account.

About the warning not to use productive (work/business) email accounts in YouniqMail:
This is not a statement that YouniqMail is less secure than Gmail or Outlook, it's the opposite kind of caution. This warning is just because YouniqMail is still in beta and have some unexpected effects. You can/will see this warning text every time you start the application (Of course, only as long as YouniqMail is still in beta)

Thanks for quick reply and clarification. YouniqMail is great e-mail client. I am using it in Linux Ubuntu OS and I love it. Keep up the good work 🙂
