You can download the alpha version of the application from our Website https://youniqmail.com/
YouniqMail is currently available as desktop client for Mac (only ARM; no Intel), Windows and Linux.
In addition to IMAP & SMTP mail accounts, Gmail and iCloud mailboxes/mail accounts will also be available.
Important Information for Alpha Phase
1) As it is still very experimental in the alpha and beta phases, do not use a production email account that you depend on.
2) When you install the application on Windows there might be a Windows Defender message which want to block the application. It's because we don't have signed the application with a code signing certificate yet. We will have fixed this by the time the application officially goes live.
You can still install the application if you click on “more information” in this message.
3) When you link a Gmail account, you will likely see a message stating “This app isn't verified.” That's exactly the case but can still connect the gmail account if you click on “advanced” in this message.
The verification process for gmail is not that easy, it takes some time but we will have fixed this by the time the application officially goes live.
4) We want to develop YouniqMail as closely as possible to the community, so we welcome any feedback. Feedback is welcome on any channel or via any means, but we have set up this feedback platform here, where you will find the sections “Bugs” and “Feature ideas.” You are welcome to register there free of charge and enter all bugs and feature ideas, or add comments and urgency levels to bugs that have already been reported. This gives us a central point of contact for bugs, development updates, and roadmaps.
